After his second place in the Ashwell race on Sunday our old pal Ashley Cox set a new record for the Beds 10 mile tt last night beating the old record by 6 seconds which was held by Simon Gaywood (a regular top 10 finisher in the British cycling premier callendar events). His time of 22.11 seconds at an average speed of 27.05 mph on the bumpy old course round Cardington, what would he do on a flat fast course.
He as come a long way since i met him on our club run last summer, started racing in March and by mid May he is now a Cat 1. Well done Ash.
