Good evening ladies and gentlemen.

Does anybody happen to know if SRAM force or rival brakes have enough clearance to run full mudguards under?

Just having some thoughts after today's Shimano mishap.

probably depends on a combination of the mudguards, the frame and the brakes...mostly the last two.

I believe all SRAM brakes (Red to Apex) are 39-49mm (i.e. not long drop 57mm). It might be enough. As Tim says, it depends...

I'd just carry on using your current brakes (long drops?) on the winter bike. That would be similar to my setup, I run Campag but with Shimano 57mm long drops.
