    I'm in.

Been trying to register for the past few days but there was an error with mine, if you get any problems just email graham.laming@gmail.com who runs it.

Link to the course HERE. Look at the elevation chart at the start!
  • Right, just had an email from the organisers of the IC 10 and it is now on SATURDAY 20th at 2PM. Marston Mortaine on the F15/10.

i can still do that, hope everyone else can.
  • Bugger!

Clashes with an Open TT i entered, will try and cancel this.
  • O dear !!! I'm working ;-(. will see what I can do.....
  • What a pain!

I had already registered thinking it was Sun AM. I'm not sure that I can make Sat PM and am not likely to know until the day before......

Also hoping that the traffic won't be too busy at that time.

I'm going to have to be a DNS Tim. Can you remove my name from the entry please.

I've been told because I've entered this Open TT, and it passed the closing date, i cannot DNS that event and run this Interclub event on the same day, I could be banned for doing so.

I'm sure Icknield had their reasons for changing the date, but the notice given was too late for any event anyone entered for that Saturday, as the closing date was the 9th.

    Annoying!!!
  • oops... fat boy skelders here... seem to have entered :-}

see you on the start line!

    gulp...

so i guess that means the P4 is not for sale anymore....
  • Skelders..........Yay ;-) seem to remember seeing you there last year ;-)
  • Hello Nige, how are you? .... I was indeed... got my PB there (not in ur league obviously ;-) 24:03 or was it 02? can't remember... This year I'll just be making up the numbers though! Just trying to get back into it....

    C u there....

    :-)
  • Mate, it will be good to see you "back on the scene"........ C u there matey.... :-) lets hope for soem good weather and some great results from CCA !!!
  • I think we have about 10 CCA so far. Be sure to get your entry in ASAP. We look to be rather outnumbered by BRCC at the moment. We have a good few fast folks signed up but could do with more riders across the board.

Weather looks good too at the moment
  • Any start sheets around yet ? ;-)
  • Here you go, different HQ to last year. Weather looking great!
    IC10 start sheet
  • Sounds good - I can make it now and the weather is looking good.

Tim - is the Marston Moretane visitor centre for the HQ, the same place as the Forest Centre and Millenium Park, MK43 0PR?

    Thanks
    Emma
  • im assuming so, at least thats where im heading!
  • Hope you had a good one guys. Predicting Nigel to be up there. At the very least you all got a nice tan :)
  • Ill post the full result when i get it, but it was a lovely afternoons racing with a very agreeable country park setting for the HQ. Lovely to be out in shorts.

Some very good CCA times and i can tell you that the winner on the day who also rode the last 2 miles with a slow puncture was a junior! ....a certain C Woolsey.

Congratulations Cam for rolling through this in 21:24

    Results board photo here

A few PB's today in sunny but not ideal conditions - there was wind resistance and it never helped!
  • A great afternoon in the sun and a well organised TT. My first time on this course, really enjoyed it and well pleased with my PB for 10 miles. If I could master roundabouts and had all the kit who knows what it could have been :-)

Excellent tea, cake and chat afterwards also

    Congratulations to all
  • Result below, sorry for the format. Great to see 4 CCA with sub 23's. Sadly Camerons fabulous win didn't count towards club points as he entered on the line, hence PTT (private time trial). well done all, we were second overall.
Still, getting the better of Tim Davies and Simon Norman is fairly amazing Cam!

  • Really enjoyed the TT yesterday, my first, great event and weather. I now have a time to beat. Looking forward to the club TT's.
  • Great Spring weather and even better to catch up with the members of our Ashwell team (although due to my late start time it was all to brief). Just wish I could get out with the club more. Thanks for the skin suit in case I needed it Tim, really appreciated the thought.

Great ride Cam. Everyone was talking about it.

    Ouch! That hurt a lot...

    Awesome Cam !!!!! Awesome!!!!
  • Cam for someone who doesn't TT that is bloody brilliant. Go enter some opens, you might win some cash!
  • A first for me also and will be back for more! Thanks for the equipment loan which I know gave me more speed but no less pain. I agree, truly awesome from Cam at over 28mph !!!!
  • Also for CCA to get 2nd with only 10 riders bodes well for the rest of the interclub.
  • That sounds like an awesome ride Cam, great time.
Well done to all, wish I could have been there.
  • Recorded 42.5mph on the initial downhill section so lordy knows what the fast boys went down at. Its a good course this ;)
