Club run, 9.00, 12.05

edited May 2013 in Club runs
Folks,
Im hoping to be out for a gentle club run tomorrow, my legs need a rest after track league friday and grass this morning.
However, im out partying tonight so if i dont make it out of bed i hope there is someone else to look after a steady 40miler.

  • no excuse Tim....a gentle club run would be just the ticket to clear the fug.....have a good one :-)
  • Big thanks to Tim for leading us out into the west wind. Natural selection around Houghton Conquest and everyone enjoyed fair sailing with the strong tailwind home.

    Thanks again Tim
  • brave man Tim :-) how's the head?
  • yes thanks shaun for the route and tim for the lead out home from henlow
  • p.s. great turn out, must have been close to 30 at the tunns for the 2 rides, club and fast
  • Mmm, head hurt a bit. Thanks to Shaun for route finding. Im very poor out that way, must go out there more and learn those roads!

Probably a bit far for Katie but she rode very confidently and will soon be giving us a hard time.
Adam, hope you got back before the vice was called into use!

Nice tidy, compact group for the most part, Well done all.
  • Yes - sorry for taking off like that when Strappy, Vice, Pete et al swept by - I saw an opportunity to save the squishy bits and took it. The last 20 odd miles must have been at well over 20mph average, Great fun.

We pushed on towards eversholt as the road was closed at steppingly we jumped the barriers etc great no traffic
we slowed a bit for trahern kept it to 23mph (joke).and with a good tail wind was flying home as you could see coming into barton le clay.
