Correction: their site says you can ride the 100miles or the 100km, but it is in fact the 100km only, as their email to me latterly informs me. Now, do I or don't I? Not sure 60 is long enough.
I had a look at this but thought the route rather uninspiring. Rather than a circular route, they've gone for an out and home, returning on the same roads that you go out on. I know these events raise a decent amount for charity, so I shouldn't knock it really.
You're quite right, of course. Boring route and not worth the ££ They offered a full refund almost immediately, so I took that route. I have a 300km audax I am trying to get onto at short notice (just waiting to hear back).... so quite unsure what I am up to right now. A 30TT would be beyond my abilities for sure. Slowly slowly I can manage over distance, not so a hell-for-leather 30TT.

Cycle over, 28 mile blast, cycle back, that's some tidy mileage
