Like that. Being part of the peloton is a privilege
the safety of the group depended on you, the weakest link. If you did not follow the rules, you were chastised. Harshly. If you did, you became a member of something spectacular. The Peloton
Take time out to read this, I know it made me think about some of my less considered actions when out riding in the group....something for everyone here.
The internet and a power meter do not replace 50,000 miles of experience, but try telling that to a fit forty year-old, new to cycling, on a $5000 bike.
What tosh. A power meter replaces EVERYTHING!
Hurumph.
Seriously, good stuff there, the one thing I didn't get was the yellow line thing. I guess this is an American middle of the road line?
Some good points made there and I agree with almost all of it.
However, I shall be keeping my cycling shorts on immediately after a ride and for the benefit of the residents of Ashwell, may I be so bold as to suggest that all other club riders do too!
