FLAT OUT IN THE FENS....

Chaps. This looks a good one and after the down pour today (Sunday) I had to cheer myself up by entering.
There are three distances... i'm in the 112m (ironman distance). Anyone up for this bad lad?

    I have plans for some hill that day. Alex, Tony, Malcolm and I have somehow signed up for the Dave Lloyd Mega, which appears to comprise several hills in North Wales. One section is called 'The Road to Hell'; I am sure this is some sort of ironic name.

    I am sure someone else said they were up for this fen ride though. ?

    Turned out to be a good day for FLAT OUT IN THE FENS. Even though it was flat it meant you were constantly working hard to keep your average up. The wind never really got behind us... low top speed of 27mph with a total average just over 19 for 117 miles. Those last 17m seemed to drag after hitting 100m in 5 hours and 3 mins. Well organised as you would expect from KILOTOGO. Next sportive for me... TOUR OF THE PEAK in October.
