Managed a 2nd place in the Cat 4 tonight.
Tom Trimble worked on the front for most of the race, pulling back any attempts of a break and getting in a few strong breaks himself. On the last lap 2 riders from North Bucks broke away with one going on to take the win. I was about 12 back in the bunch and came up the hill to sprint to second place by a fair distance, one length behind first.
Cat 3 for me next week, don't think I'll be as fresh to sprint in the next Cat.

Will - Yes I'm now a 3rd Cat. The wind wasn't too bad actually, it may have been because Tom was soaking it all up, it was much appreciated Tom!!
I have a 4th Cat Race tomorrow at Dunsfold Park, might have a bit of fun in it as long as they allow me in!
