i rode the 'new' bit of road on Sunday evening. An interesting 'method of repair' but rode okish

Plan to be out for a 22 to 24 mph average group. Last week 5 of us averaged 22mph as a medium group. Will do similar this week but note Peter has a slower group on offer as well.
Theo, you guys are just too fast and it becomes an impossibility for me and i note also for others so if it,s ok with you i propose taking a more moderate group. Or we could sit in and see if you are steady enough for us to take a few turns. That is if anyone turns up for my offering.
My aim is to keep a group together but it needs enough of a similar pace.

Good group of about 10/12. Back on the usual chaingang circuit.
Pretty smooth first lap recorded an average speed of 23.8mph.
Other group a bit smaller and used the Abington Piggot loop.
