Blue Egg Cafe ride THURSDAY 25 JULY

I will be leaving the Tunns at 9 am on Thursday for a ride to the Blue Egg Cafe- those that have not been there before its 35 miles each way from Ashwell - great Cafe(frequented by Cav and Rob Hales when Cav is at his home in Essex) great food,baked on the premises.Hopefully by giving the route anyone who missed the start or who wants to join later can find us.
So leaving the Tuns at 9am, via Odsey, Sandon, Green End, Mill End, Buntingford, Hare St, Gt Hormead, Brent Pelham, Clavering,Newport,Debden, Thaxted,Gt Bardfield.
Will probably return via Newport and Gt Chishill.
Rough timings; 9am leave the Tuns, 11-1115 arrive Blue Egg, 1200 leave Blue Egg, 2.15 back at Tuns.
So anyone who has the day off and fancies a ride please feel free to join in.

They're closing the bridge at Odsey for repairs any day now (and it's expected to stay closed for at least a month).
No pedestrian or vehicle access apparently, so it might be better to go via Slip End on Thurs ... unless somebody else can give you more precise info on dates

Just checked the Odsey Bridge and Jane is quite right it closes at 7.30 tomorrow morning until the end of August - no problem we go via Slip End.
Weather looks a bit damp early but should clear up so I WILL ride, anyone else more than welcome
