Intro Chain Gang - 30th July

Plan to be out for another intro paced ride. Expecting some new riders so pace around 18 -20 mph.

Meet at the Tuns at 7 pm.

Propose 3 - 4 laps of the shorter Abington Piggots loop.

Turned out to be quite a nice night.

9 out tonight for the intro chain gang with 4 out for the first time. First lap was not so smooth. We regrouped and put in two better laps. Final lap was good too. We split up going through Abington Piggots and onto the small hill. We regrouped and rode back up to Ashwell.

I kept forgetting to set my lap timer. I did manage on lap 3 which was 20.7 mph. Well done to the group for working well together. I think everyone enjoyed their night out!

I am not out next week but will be out the week after.

Yes that was a good turnout, and I think we we got into a reasonably good rhythym after the first lap or two.

I should be around next week...

Noah and I really enjoyed our first attempt and will certainly be out again. Thank you for the encouragement and patience in helping us get it right. Bought a better bike today so maybe will be easier to close the gaps next time!
