Entry-level road bike from Halfords - £270 today
This entry-level road bike is selling for just £270 today only.
With 10% British Cycling discount as well that brings the cost down to £243... (to get the discount you'd need to buy online, instantly return it for a refund, then buy it again using your BC discount - most Halfords stores are used to the routine...)
It's obviously no carbon fibre superbike but for the price of three tanks of fuel it would make a good, cheap bike for an older youth rider or a parent wanting to get involved.
