Thanks All. I'd forgotten how good an undulating route can feel. Narrow lanes, tight bends, lots of junctions and a generous helping of gravel and late calls all added to the fun. Think I shed a millimetre of tyre when Mr Fixie stopped on a knife-edge in front of me. 6 out and 6 home safe after a good test of bike-handling skills and reaction times. About 45 miles av 16.7mph (though I did start Garmin a bit late, so please correct me if necessary)
The other group started with 9, later down to 8 when Phil swung off for home leaving Jon, Dan, Will, Strappy, Trahern, Tom, Ian and myself. It was a windy day and we decided to head out for Grafham, despite the groans of 'what, again?'. I had us at 64 miles averaging 18.7 mph.
