Weather is looking good so far. I was aiming to leave Royston around 9:30. John, Is this OK with you if you still fancy it? If anyone is coming from Ashwell way and would rather go via Sandon instead of coming up to Royston, we can meet at Hare Street?
Pace wise, I'm happy with anything from 16 - 18, whatever everyone is happy with really - I have no records to set! Will just be nice (for me, anyway) to do a longer ride as I have been a bit restricted lately!
Might see you there then, given it's around 35 miles each way from Ashwell...so you''ll be arriving 11.30-11.45ish. It's 40 miles from Thetford, so I'm aiming to arrive for a lunch break. Weather looks good!
Ok, great., Assuming this cold my delightful children have given me doesn't worsen overnight, Heath car park to be ready to leave at 9:30 and Hare Street 10
I might join you depending how this evening's celebrations go! Which is the Heath car park please? Is it the one on the road from the Little Chef up to Therfield? John
Really enjoyed that. Didn't quite expect the turnout, but great to see so many and great to do a few more miles than usual. Hope everyone made it back safe after the split at Newport. John, would have waited for you back at Royston but thought I had better go and relieve Anita of baby duties!
Great ride yesterday Matt, really enjoyed it. Thanks to Dan & TomT too for their excellent work on the front of the pack.
Me and Emma left the Royston group at Great Chishill, and went back to Baldock via Reed, Therfield and Sandon. 71 miles on the clock by the time we got back.

I'm cycling back from Elveden on Monday and may make that a stop en route to Hitchin.

We would be leaving from Baldock via Sandon so could meet you at Hare street - what time do you reckon you will be there?
