Going to be windy tomorrow and maybe wet. So lets go south where it's a bit more sheltered and head towards Luton/Hitchin

Ashwell, Langford, Meepershal, Sharpenhoe, then depending on the weather shorter way back via Pirton or the slightly longer way via Lilly.

I'll bring out the talisman Giant bike so scare the rain away !!

    The talisman Giant winter bike worked a treat this morning, not a drop of rain & even a bit of early sunshine.

    Route above was definitely just a guide & was a ride of two halves - the roads I knew & the ones where I had no idea where we were! AdamR took the lead the on way to Barton with his mystery tour of the villages of mid beds. Great route & we will have to do it again if we ever figure out where we were!! After a quick blast up Sharpenhoe clappers we were back on familiar territory and headed through Lilly, down to Whitwell up and over to Preston and back via Willian and Baldock and Bygrave.

    Thanks all for a great morning & special thanks to Adam for getting us all to Barton.

    Final tally was 46 miles @ 16. Not bad for a hilly route on a windy day.
