  • Ahoy shipmates!
Back from the Land of the Ottoman Turk, where almost roasted alive
Hours ashore under the boiling sun, kicking my heels and staring out to sea
Tried outdoor 'spinning', sweating salty buckets but ship refused to budge an inch
Dock not so dry, as plied with unlimited local grog
Enough kebabs to sink a ship
Eager to dust off my helmet, rejoin the crew and get ship-shape!

  • Sounds like you are already the shape of a ship, looking forward to seeing the launch.
  • A fine crew set sail
40 miles at 17 mph via Preston and Hexton

a foreign pair tried to take the wind out of the sail and "Dis the Pig"
Barnabas had a twinkle in the eye
pulled them back on hexton and showed them our hind

They Reappeared later on a short cut
gave them a start and did the business again
A Pirates satisfaction was had by the crew
two young buccaneers shown what age and treachery can do

of course the crew was together
    club rules apply

    good ride

  • Great fun shipmates.
The best place for buccaneers is under your buckin hat.
As Vic said, 2-1 to Ashwell
Very enjoyable, glad my helmet no longer dusty.
