Just myself, Carmelo and Pete on this one. First race I'd done for a little while, spent most of the time on the front riding like a true 4th cat! Managed to get in a couple of breaks that got swallowed up after a while but really enjoyed attacking and pushing the pace. Solo attack way too early at the end (was being a little foolish, just trying to knacker myself out) meant that I watched the pack roll past me before the last hill at the finish. Had a second wind and chased a few of the stragglers down to move up a few places, but generally just had a really good time wasting myself! Lovely course, the hill finish is a hard one here, a long steeper section followed by a little drop before a short hill sprint to the finish line. First race I've found myself on the inner chainring... Lovely day, in the end, too!
