Dave Lloyd Mega - report
I was shattered by the end, and still am. We all made it. Spectacular times from messers Herbert and Pez, a truely heroic effort from Malcolm. The biggest question remains 'Malcolm, why choose this beast as your first sportive?'
Sign gremelins meant everyone went a bit off course. A huge area covered.
I'll type some more later.
I hate hills.

As per Daniel, the hero of the very long day was Malcolm. Two weeks earlier he was on crutches, has a deformed knee, took a very strange approach to training - no approach - and then enters this, and completes it. I like the photos up Melin-y-Wig, the last of the real climbs about 10 miles from the end. Alex looks a pro, Daniel like he is cycling home from the pub, me like I have colic. Malcolms photo to be posted yet, I suspect he will be wearing a red cape.
I have sworn I will never return to this hell. However, if any club members fancy finding out what depths of despair cycling can take you to, June 2010 in Wales is the place for you.
