British Cycling Coaching Development Session for Women & Girls (Road Racing)
Writtle College
Saturday 9th November

Women and Girls interested in developing their road racing skills are invited to a training session at Writtle College on Saturday 9th November. Any women from novices to experienced competitors are welcome. The session will be in two parts.
Training Theory: Mark Walker (Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology) will present a short lecture introducing basic training principles and components of fitness as they relate to the female cyclist.
Practical Session: Mark Wyer will lead a session working on skills and techniques for road racing, especially criteriums. This will include effective cornering, fast starts and riding with others.
12:15 – 16:00
Minimum age 14 years
You will need a road bike with no aero/tri bars fitted
Only £10 for British Cycling members (£15 for non members)
You need to book online in advance of the session. There are only 20 places so don’t delay.
