Great days racing have a few pictures from the Youth Race and the Veteran/Women race too! Quite muddy in places, but overall a good day for CCA! We send a speedy recovery to Hugh Vivian who crashed today.

    Well done today Gareth and thanks for the results. The drive home was very wet. Did Daniel and Shelton get soaked?

    Very squirmy out there again today and the bikes took some cleaning.

    The rain held off for Shelton and I thankfully. Good course, but slippery. 30th eh Stuart? Well done, and indeed well done to all CCA riders; another good race.

    was all quite squirmy and hope the chap that went down on the bridge wasnt as badly hurt as i heard in some rumours.
    The Lightfoot boys both 3rd! fantastic and craig had an 8th i think.

    Glad the monsoon held off for the racing!

    Well the story behind this gurn is I was putting in a lactic laden ‘super effort’ to chase down a lad I’d been joisting with the whole race. I was closing in but, sadly, wiped out on a corner just beyond the woods. By the time I got going again I’d lost too much time. Ironically the guy I was chasing had some sort of problem later on and didn’t finish. Great battle whilst it lasted though.

    You see I ride to compete, not to look good!
