Might cycle to Harwich, overnight ferry to Holland, 100 miles there next day pan flat. In November...

    How did we miss this cafe de karper? Maybe we didn't but I can't be sure!!?

    I think most of our lot found Cafe Karper; seem to recall Stef saying he got chatting with Ronnie Keisse. Me you and Robbie ended up razzing about in the back of that Ghent University graduate's BMW after falling into that other bar. I think I sat on his degree certificate.

    I'm up for 2014. I have to go back, as I missed that bar where you have to give them your shoe...

    Given today's blue skies and light winds I could contemplate cycling over... but the Eurostar was very civilised

    Working on an improved route to the coast and then on to Ghent on day 2. I still have some tokens to use up!

    I think the Harwich route has legs..probably not mine though :-) And yes James we did do that bar, or at least we did..unfortunately I got those with me lost in Ghent afterwards so it took ages to find our hotel. I am sure Martin was pleased with the sightseeing we managed.
