8am Sat 30 Nov (deffo 8am)

edited November 2013 in Club runs
I'm up for a 70m ride...

Choices are:

Join the 9am Blue cafe ride
Or
Knock out an 8am 70m ride with a coffee stop and be back before 12.30 in time for lunch or shopping

Mmmmmmmm?

  • Shopping? !! Don't be daft. Join the Blue Egg Brigade and have a lie in. You know it makes sense!
  • I'm up for the 70 and not in a rush, happy with 8 or 9 mate
  • Maybe Gwen is right! Let's join up with the 9am Blue Egg ride.
  • Cool. Steady 18's yea ;)
  • Oh gawd! I'll get the summer bike back out!!
  • Why not ride to the Blue Egg with an 8am start?
We'll be riding home into the wind (NW), but should still back by 12:30 ... in the true spirit of the 8am ride

Ok.... sounds good. 8am start for us 8 o clockers.
    Anyone know the route?

Neil it's back on at 8am mate.
  • I would prefer 8am start and 17s. I need to do things in the afternoon.

    I know the way.
  • Sorted. 8am
  • In case you didn't know there is a round of the CX tomorrow at grafham water. Racing starts at 10.30 so you could pop up and do a spot cow bell rattling and get a tail wind home:) seniors race doesn't start til 1.45pm but I am sure the yoof would appreciate your support!
  • Word is out that the best line is through the reservoir. Have fun with that!
  • I'll meet you at Hare Street at 8.40, none of your 18's Neil!
  • Hope you've seen the 8am start Neil...
If not you can catch us up!
  • Good that. V glad of the mince pie calories I took onboard yesterday, though - I needed every one

Bit tired now. Thanks Shaun for expert navigation, once again
  • Good gritty ride with lots of lumps and a top sausage sarnie to get me Hm.
    And yes... feeling it now.
  • Good ride. Slight headwind on the way back, but nothing Neil and John couldn't handle.
  • Thanks all for a great morning and an excellent work out, clearly good to get to Blue Egg early before they run out of date and oat slice (good recommendation Neil). Superb navigation Shaun, second to none.
