6 out this morning on the club run, Tom, Neil, Theo, Bryn, Peter and me. There was some discussion on the route, with one view being anything but Langford, Ireland and Old Walden. After more discussion the prevailing wind won the argument and we set off following Peter. The Sage remembered an old training route and pulled out a blinder; it was brilliant. Not sure exactly where we went.
Only 4 remained by Hexton Hill and then Peter and I turned off at Letchworth leaving just two to carry the torch back into Ashwell.
Not sure of the stats, but maybe 60 miles for me.

Wonderful company and a route that managed to tack against the oncoming wind for around 40 miles before turning on the downwind leg around lily's bottom. It was good to mix up the route a bit but never really far from home.
Daniel and I back in Letchworth at 12.10 and guessing Bryn and Neil back at Ashwell 12.40?
I measured around 60 miles at 16 - 17ish? steady anyway.
sorry guy's that was me on lonesome my 1st ride in four weeks since breaking my hand, i was going very steady only done 30 miles.and that was enough i can hardly grip my handle bars weaving all over the road (just like my normal riding style).
Hope to be back soon but need to get my legs back in shape first, if i don't see you all before xmas have a cracking one (but not your hand ha ha ).
strappy.
To cheer yourself up you need to read the Assos brochure about their new shorts. Aparently we shouldn't want a new pair we actually NEED 4 new pairs for different situations. One pair features a 'KukuPenthouse'.
I know.
I bet they are really comfy though...
