Eight hardy crew set sail today
On the morn of Boxing Day
To the North the Black Pig sailed
An easy route for those who wassailed
30 miles at an average sixteen
Not too slow and not too keen
Working well as a pack
Changing to take up the slack
Tacking south into the wind
Sharing work,no one skinned
Approaching the sprint, called a truce
Sneaky Dutchman found more juice
Pete2 a force to be reckoned
Well named, he came his usual second
Pete2 was watching for the captain
Dutchie came past on the line
A classic case of the old one-two
Pete2 didn't know what to do
Another great day had come to pass
And so we wish you Merry Christmas!
