A10 Corridor Cycling Campaign Video

edited January 2014 in General
Hi all,

John Meadows and I have created a video for the A10 Corridor Cycling Campaign. One Wednesday morning in December, John rode from Royston to Cambridge along the A10 and I followed him with Mark Fraser's camera mounted on my handlebars.

See the results here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTZ2EI3MkoQ
Make sure you check out the close pass at the Melbourn junction. John didn't flinch and it was a pleasure to work with him.

The next meeting is in Royston on the 14th January - see the campaign website for details.

Mark.

  • It's great that more cycle paths are being constructed how ever who maintain's them once they are built? As a mere humble road sweeper driver, we simply don't get the roads swept with in the district as it is due to the sweepers not going out every day. We have a cycle path from Cottenham to Histon which is a pain, soon as it rains motor vehicles wash debris off of the road onto the path, small stones and fragments of glass etc.The sweeper only sweeps it doesn't cut grass or wash/clean solar studs, this is a valuable question that needs to be asked, as I know numerous complaints come in from the public about the Histon cycle path due to the amount of puncture's people get.
