    I've only ever seen Skelders on a bike once and it was at the start of a time trial, so strictly speaking he was only propping it up at the time

    and what about the London Phoenix? that was always a favorite... anyone do it last year??? 2012 CCA came 2nd, 3rd & 4th respectively :-) my last competitive sportive (am I allowed to say that ;-)

    expectations setting here - pity party over - 15 kgs to lose ... IT WILL BE STEADY!!!!!

    If it's Graham Water, then can I suggest the way via Old Warden? I'll stay with you til about the bridge at Barford then go back thru Potton etc to Guilden. That'll be aboot 35 miles to Ashwell in total if anyone fancies joining and getting back 10:30am ish.

    I have a feeling there's a bit of disparity in form within the group, and so me and Skelders will be looking to taking it easy 'in Business Class' at the back of the peleton.

    I don't think people will be queuing up to lead me out this season, need to work on stopping before hitting other riders!! Great ride and mileage
    though, Got back on 110km.
