Team Champs CX Youth Team

Hi all,

As Shelton was getting a team together for the U12's Team champs, I thought I better get a Youth team together, I know that me, Noah and Ollie are going. So any other U14/U16's riders who interested please do comment! We can have more than one team!

Holly may be able to go. But don't you need stronger riders for the team? She is also not in the Eastern League but not sure if that matter's ?

No you don't need to be a strong rider (even I've got a team) or in the League…. anyway Holly is strong!

Hi Paul,

The maximum in a team is 4 (3 being the smallest) so at the moment it's Me, Noah and Holly (maybe if she can go) and Mark is going to ask if Ollie can come, which would make a team. It doesn't matter if she's not in the league, the event is organised by the Eatsern League people, but not part of it. You need to enter online for this one (closing date is 3rd Feb I think) - only Under 10 and Under 12 can enter on the day.

And then someone needs to email the organiser Terry Smith (see BC event entry page for email address) telling him who is in your team.

I think Youth teams have to consist of either two or three members, with two riders to count. But you'd better confirm with the organiser.

"Medals for first three teams of 3 or 4 with 3 to count for combined Sen/Jun/Elite Vet teams and Vet45/Vet50+ teams. Medals for first two teams of 2 or 3 with 2 to count for women, youth, combined U12/U10/U8 teams, and all-junior teams within the Sen/Jun/Elite Vet race."

Yes Mark, you are correct there, as there is a team of 4 and the max is 3, I am happy to drop out as I do have a running event on the same day which I can do.
I can still send the Team of 3 to Terry, or we could have two teams of 2, which I am also happy on doing?

Holly only entered because she was asked to make up team. So she does not have to go. Better to go with strongest team. Will save fuel instead.

Ok Paul, if that's okay, it was my mistake about how many were in a team, and we weren't sure if Oli was going as we hadn't heard from him. Sorry for the inconvenience, you may be able to get a refund from BC in the website, for £5

Hi Stuart,

I emailed Terry and Stuart F to say I couldn't go either, as I have a chest infection. I said Noah and Oli can still race, however If your not racing I think it would be a good idea to email him. His email is terrybiker2001@yahoo.co.uk I think Noah can still race but just not in a team. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
