are you thinking driving down to roubaix on the friday, doing the ride (via the shuttle) and then driving home on the saturday?

I have friends who have ridden that and the word is that it is fantastic. Cant do it this year but one day....

Yes, going over on the Friday (with family in tow) and then staying for the pro race on the Sunday, followed by a couple of days at Disney for the kids.

You can't beat hammering round the lanes of Northern France hopping from pave section to pave section watching the pro's ending at the Carrefour De L'abre watching the end on a big screen surrounded by Belgians!
