That is a great report. We were there and it was exactly like that. First time for us and a great weekend away. Watching Helen Wyman get bronze and the other GB squad battling hard was brilliant. Those leading senior men just fly and the battle for 1st and 2nd place just kept changing. There was no let up for them they just kept attacking each other and all done on mud tubs at 17 psi !!!!
There's some good coverage of the great racing on the UCI's youtube channel if anyone's interested. The Men's Elite race is particularly good entertainment.
