Steady 60-70m ride....
looks nice weather so maybe Hexton Sharpenhoe Lilley Valley Old Knebworth Walkern Weston etc
- coffee stop and shorter break off at Whitwell

    Unfortunately I'm not out, but that road from Highbum Gloworm (or whatever that funny place is called) to Hexton is flooded pretty badly, last few times I've nipped past it it's been closed so have had to nip into barton and back down the main road to the hill. Just a heads up...

    Should be out, trying to get rid of chesty cough so will have to see how it goes. I was out doing a survey near Hockllife last week and the roads from Henlow, Shillington through Barton, Sharpenhoe, Harlington, Toddington were fine.

    wheeeeeeeeee! looking good there... had to be back in by 10 so decided to go out a bit earlier and get smashed around some hills. ouch.

    Ended up with 74m - Hexton, Sharpenhoe, Whitwell, Old Knobworth, Cromer etc
    Sofa with Sochie on for the afternoon now!

    70 miles with 1200m climbing for me. 1st hilly one in ages and I am cream-crackered, but it was just what I needed. Cheers Robbie
    Oh and England v Ireland was a scorcher BTW. Swing low

    Sounds like you had a good one. I got as far as Dunton before having a coughing fit. I have had enough of this cold now.
