OK< as it was such a great ride when we did it about a month ago we can have another crack at the reverse Heydon route

Ashwell-Barkway-Heydon-Fowlmere-Bassingbourn-Ashwell

Some pirates joined the Saturday crew
Great fun, some sun and a different view

Up and up we went without remorse
The vision went blurry, no change of course

At last there came the down hill bit
A chance for the overweight to look half fit

Two interim sprints, Pete came second
The usual story , foul play he reckoned

So thanks indeed to David and his 09.30 ride
Now back to the black pig, Jolly Roger flied
