Spring ride! 70-80m with a coffee stop as usual.
More hills.... maybe including twice round the Sundon Sharpenhoe loop?

Or something completely different?!

  • I did have plans, but twice around the Sundon loop might temp me to change them!
  • Hi MC. You back from France?
Brickhill is a minimum 60 miler realistically. 20mph fav For 11am return. Tasty.
Would be nice to do something like this soon as it gets lighter and warmer, though I'm thinking something daft like a 6am start.

  • Hoping to be there. Hills would be good, but happy to go wherever MC takes us :)
  • Thinking bibs and leg warmers… but it may just stay as a thought.
  • Robbie I'll be out with tired legs, may turn back with MC for a slightly early finish. I was going to race over at the bowl but I'll be waiting until next week now.
  • Think I'll be leg warmers too.
  • I'm thinking tiara and leg warmer a. Hope to join for the 50miles option. Must get fit must get fit.
  • Should be out.

Got a route going SW if you want it. Ends up at the cafe at Ashridge in the Chilterns.

About 70 miles round trip. A few hills.
  • Now that sounds good!

Top route Shaun... lots of climbing, single track lanes and a great flapjack!
About 9 set off. Great to see everyone.
Also bumped into Ellis somewhere after Ashridge - now rides with Phoenix in London but had our CCA shirt on.

    Spring is here!!!
  • Cheers for the route Shaun, really enjoyed it despite cutting short. Still managed a good 100km with good company. Gutted we missed Ellis!
  • Yes, good to see Ellis near Redbourn. He was riding a steel bike!

    Enjoyed the ride. Tired now.
