    Nice day for a bike race! Thanks to all the marshalls for giving up their Sunday morning and to Carmello for putting on a great race. Great result Tom - got to be a podium next year!

    Hi all,

    I've sent the full results to Carmelo and I'm sure he'll post on here but the CCA ones I've got are:
    7th Tom Trimble
    14th Neil Murphy
    39th Iain Foulkes
    50th Luke Dankert
    51st Jeremy Ross

    Plus Will Smith and Jon Chapman were in there but as they entered on the line I have been able to translate their numbers.

    Another year and again a well run event with good reports from British cycling and my turn to thank you ALL SO MUCH!!

    I did say yesterday but in case you weren't there I want to thank EVERYBODY involved from riders to judges to marshals to drivers to tea ladies..ALL the jobs are important to make the event run smoothly and safely
    and it is so great that we all rally to make it happen...putting CCA in a positive light and making a few quid for the club too...BRILLIANT!

    Have to admit that after 9 years of it I think I could do with someone taking over the reigns for a bit or sharing tasks with me....any takers please?

    I know its been said but also have to thank everyone involved - especially Carmello of course.
    CCA put on a great event all round and well done to all the CCA riders - you looked great riding for each other and getting in the breaks.

    thanks for the support on the course. Carmelo for running a great event again and all the helpers. for me this is the first race i have managed my asthma, to finish the race in the peloton i was happy with. and Evan happier to finish 17th with cramp in my legs. that last minute lunge paid off as i took two people on the line.
