First club run of official spring 2014 !

Thought that we could go in a southerly direction again and do the route that circumnavigates Stevenage.

Ashwell-Whitwell-Knebworth-Aston-Cromer-Ashwell

42 miles with loops into Bennington and around Walkern, 37 without.

Shinny new bikes optional :)

    7 out on the club run+ went north to Yelling, 23 miles with a tail wind gave us supersonic speed.
    Huge big headwind home though! 44 miles at 17.3.
    Not sure what we'll do when Nathan gets the summer bike out!!

    Great ride yesterday on the club run, 7 of us tackled the route above which seemed to have not one single yard of flat road in it. Just for an extra bit if non flat also tacked on the climb up to Preston, well it is spring after all !!

    Headwind on the way out, and a good tailwind on the way back gave us an average of bang on 15 for the 41 miles.
