Unless the weather forecast changes, we're going to have an easterly wind on Saturday ... in which case, how about riding to the Blue Egg Caf

    Should be able to make this. Weather's looking good.

    My normal loop is 72 miles.
    Ashwell, Buntingford, Clavering, Debden, Thaxted, Gt. Bardfield, Henham, Rickling Green, the Pelhams, Buntingford, Ashwell

    We might ride it in reverse for a change.

    Sunshine all the way. 16 degrees by lunchtime (in the shade, so that's gotta be 20 degrees for the likes of you and me). And a grin-inducing tailwind to get us home
    So who likes their eggs sunny side up? C'mon Vince, Martin, Martin ... and anyone not called Martin ... probably be 70-ish miles at 17-ish mph. How can you resist?

    Visiting family in Kent...a day trapped inside a metal box up and down the motorway, while the sun shines outside. Where would I rather be? :-(

    Blue Egg was heaving with cyclists, though thankfully, most of them arrived after our food did
    Enormous bacon butties and v tasty cakes went down a treat and it was 20 degrees out on the patio. Almost felt like summer ... oh no, that's tomorrow. Shorts next week then
