I've booked my place on this (details: http://www.clivepowell-mtb.co.uk/transcambriandetail.php). I've never done the precise ride, but I know the area well and it should be a cracker, weather permitting. The bits around Llyn Clywedog in particular deserve respect - for the likes of me, at least.
