Resurfacing in Therfield - road closure until 9th April

If you go up the hill that crosses the golf course, you come to a R turn that takes you along the ridge, passing the Coombe Rd turning and eventually running all the way down to the A505. According to the road signs I saw yesterday, it's closed from that R turn, but it wasn't clear where the closure actually stopped (presumably the workmen had gone home for their tea and it had been reopened overnight)

You might be lucky and manage to squeeze your bike around any road blocks, but it might be better just to avoid that bit of road until after the weekend
