Road closures on Saturday 10th. Friends Life Women's Tour coming through.
The UKs inaugural "Elite International road racing cycling stage race for woman aka, the Friends Life Womens Tour - see route below, starting at 11:30 from Hertford and finishing in Welwyn, it will result in a series of rolling road closures that may affect us locally as it comes through from Hare Street, Buntingford, Cottered, through Baldock and on into Letchworth on Sat 10th May.
Including Olympic double gold medal winner, Laura Trott, it should be worth a watch, especially at the finish in Welwyn I suspect, as Trott started her cycling career with the Welwyn Wheelers club.
Highlights of the stage will be broadcast on ITV4 at 9pm on the day.
