Grass track frame

I have just bought a Alfie Webb alloy track frame and fork for £60, the chap has one left in a 54cm c to top finished in blue marble. If you are interested I can pick it up when I go to collect mine in two weeks time. Please note the frame has no decals but can be purchased for £13.50 inc postage.

By all accounts Alf Webb is quite a character.

These are great frames, cheap and with tyre no clearance issues for grass track riders.

My track bike is one of Alf's frames in blue marble. I built it up this time last year and have been really pleased with it since, it has been great for both grass track and also racing at Welwyn (I just swap my wheels over).

Alf is a great guy, he really knows his stuff, but is accurately described as "quite a character". One example, on both occasions that we drove out to his (quite remote) place he was insistant on calling my dad Dave, even when repeatedly reminded that his name is Stephen.

I have messaged the chap, so hopefully he will put it to one side. Just to confirm they are Alf's frames but I'm getting from a Guy, who is winding down his bike shop. (not Alf) I will email you Stuart once I have received conformation that he still has one left.
