Saturday 31st May 9.30am club ride

edited May 2014 in Club runs
I'm going to be doing the Chiltern 100 on Sunday, so won't be doing the Sat club ride this week.

Would somebody like to volunteer to navigate a route ??

Thanks

  • Good luck for Sunday David, I'll be out tomorrow and can come up with a route if necessary.

Looks like the weather's going to be pretty good this weekend...
  • Thanks Tim, that's great.

It looks like cracking cycling weather on both days this weekend so let's all get out and enjoy it !!
  • Good luck with your Hilly Sunday 100 David. I can also come up with a second group steady pace ride for those that wish... Looks like it's going to be a no rain day too.
  • A good turnout today, looks like we had 3 separate groups going off. My group of 9 did a southerly route, 38.5 miles @ 17.8.

Cheers Tim, good route and good ride.
Well done to Sam. Nathan - hope you got back OK.
See you Tuesday for some chain gang!

Four of us went for a longer ride, a great route around Madingley way, navigated by Geoff - Thanks

60 miles at a steady 17mph with a welcome cake stop in Bourn on the way back.
  • John/Susan/Ollie - Vernon rode with you I believe on Saturday morning and wanted to pass on his thanks for a very enjoyable ride. He emailed me.
  • 4 of us followed Tim's route but chopped off the Barley dog leg and this got us back on about 36.5 miles. A good sprint down to the A505. Hope to see you riding with us again Vernon. Thank you for your note to Mr. C C A Chairman - it sound as though you have given us all a good report!
  • Feeling rather sorry for that dog in Barley
  • Ah, how useful is the apostrophe!
  • Thanks to John for navigating a lovely route. Thoroughly enjoyed that run down to the A505. Olly and I rode in four counties during that one ride, and we did less than fifty miles.
