TT- New 25 Mile Club Record

I think I beat the club record for 25 mile time trial on Saturday on E2/25 - 54.24. Thanks to James, Richard and Carmelo for their advice/encouragement.

    Great ride Michael - well done

    Might be a good idea to keep historical records information on the TT page as well as just current.

    I noticed yesterday that Julian Pegg did the VTTA National 100 on 25th May incorporated into the Hounslow & Dist Whs 100 and also broke the current club 100 record with a time of 4:13:45 and a VTTA standard of +42:51 placing 25th out of 52.

    I think I have beaten the 25 mile TT club record.
    I did the VTTA EA on Saturday (5th) on the E2/25.
    Due off as number 46 and arrived at the start with 3 minutes to go. As I was checking tyres for grit noticed that a rear spoke had snapped at the nipple. My start was delayed whilst I had help cutting the spoke and loosening the rear brake (by this time wheel no longer true). Eventually set off replacing no 73. Time on the road 53.33 which has been confirmed by organiser.
    Don't know if this can be recorded as a new record or not?

    I just had a look at the records page Martin, and you're missing Justyn Layne's 19:48 from F20/10, posted on 12th June I believe.

    Some great times being posted this year for sure.
