Great ride in near perfect conditions. i finished 55.5 miles at 18mph and a little more bike tan to make me look daft in my speedos.
A couple of near misses with our 4 wheeled set who forgot which side of the rode we drive on - maybe a tribute to the French and the tour?
At the end, James laying down the pace early doors before Hinxworth and sped off for the line (must be a thing with Jameses) Jane lead the chasing pack and did a spectacular job of catching before i took on the lead feeling guilty on letting her do the work - but not for long.
Naturally, true to form, the pack screamed past and i managed my usual lowly place of 3rd!
Fab ride, great company..many thanks to Tony for the route and thanks for beating me down the water tower hill into 2nd, i was only doing 31mph sorry to slow you up
Ahoy the crew
Captain holed but not sunk
Quite hour and half to loosen up defective leg
Great day
Looks like the Pig has become a speed boat
Will post next week , but back to 16 -17mph if captain returns
The bullet living up to name
See you soon
