OK, looks like the precipitation fairy might do a return visit tomorrow. What have we done to deserve such wet Saturdays !!

So, two plans for tomorrow. If we have a bumper turnout we will go with plan A - split the group into two and do a forward and reverse group of the same route:

Excellent ride David and many thanks from us all once again. We liked the new building and the tea, cake and biscuits - it was just what we all needed after all those hills.

Yep plan B was the route of choice for yesterday. Bit of a duff start as bang on 9.30am Nathan mentioned the R word and the heavens opened & we got as far as the village hall before a waterproof stop! West was definitely best though as the clouds started to melt away the closer we got to the hills. Good selection of lumps on the route with Sharpenhoe Clappers still proving to be a bit of a beast !

Good pace all the way from Lilley to Whitwell and a fine fast tempo climb of Whitwell hill and a fun descent back down to Gosmore.

Think it was 45 @ 16 when we got back to Baldock and a grand day out was had by all !
