Only 1 out this morning. Very wet but not remotely cold and hardly any cars on the road, which made it rather enjoyable in a cathartic, end-of-a-horrible-week kind of way
1 branch down across the road nr Gamlingay Cinques, but easily visible and skirt-roundable. Quite a bit of wind to deal with - logged 19mph on the way out and 17mph back, but had more of a problem coping with strong gusts that came in random directions.
Solo, winter bike, hurricane, fallen branch, minor flooding ... pls may I be forgiven for ducking out of Ldn-Surrey?
Good effort Jane. Did you take the sprint finish?!
I managed a four hour walk with the family in the hills around Snowdon.
Conditions? Deluge plus 60mph winds on the tops. Only 12C here, compared to balmy (barmy?) 20C in London. Knackered. Shudder to think what that would have been like on the bike.

Snorkelling weather here in Wales....a flood of biblical proportions to make even Noah listen to Brody's advice in Jaws and get a bigger boat!
Am I hard enough to complete a 50 mile circuit underwater in the mountainous seas around Snowdon tomorrow?.....er, no.
Think I'll stay in and read some Dylan Thomas instead...I like some decent poetry. Under Milk (Race) Wood, anyone?!
