OK, lets do option A from last week, and keep up the 'not flat' theme

Ashwell-Therfield-Audley End-Clavering-Hare St-Buntingford-Sandon-Ashwell

Reverse of the normal way we go round, and a bit of an extra loop to chuck in a stately home at Audley end !

See you in the morning - just about going to be shorts temperature.......

    Kept up the "not flat" theme.
    And I kept up the "hanging off the back" theme.

    Yep it was definitely 'not flat' at all !

    Pretty large group, but we all stayed together up an down all of the lumps and bumps to Littlebury - with the advertised grand view of a stately home chucking in for good measure. Pace got a bit tasty as the roads flattened a bit between Clavering and Hare Street, before a regroup in Buntingford for the gallop down to slip end.

    Bit of a crazy pensioner day, as myself, Tim and about half the group almost got wiped out by an old dear in a corsa who seemed to ignore a large group of cyclists, other cars, pedestrians and indeed junctions on the road ! Not to be outdone, granny number 2 decided that it was a great idea to cross the road in front of us while we zoomed down the hill into Buntingford. Crazy !!!

    Anyway, all back safely with a grand total of 45 miles @ 17.
