A windy, blowy, gloomy evening for the final TT of the year. Despite this, there were some good times and four PBs. Sadly though, Nigel suffered a puncture in Guilden Morden. Thanks to Finn and Lucia for timing, and it was very helpful to be marshalled at the Wrestlingworth crossroads.
Chris Pearce 22.44 (Cambridge CC) Jason Stuart 22.46 Jackie Field 25.21 John Thorpe 27.07 (PB) Robert Bumstead 27.07 (PB) Dave Wells 27.21 (PB) Noah Field 27.49(PB) Kevin Stigwood 27.49 Gareth Lewis 27.51(PB) Emma Koppe 27.52 Matt Scales 28.07 David Jones 29.34 Jenny Andrews 29.36 (PB, I believe by over a minute?!) Susan Watts 30.23
Thank you to everyone who has made Wednesday evenings possible, organisers, competitors and spectators, and especially to James, whose maths has enlivened the competition. And if you are pining already, there are only 251 days to the first club 10 of 2015! See you on the 6th May.
Thanks to Finn and Lucia for timekeeping. Mine was a pb by 29s, thanks to Marshall at the crossroad and a tailwind up the hill! I never imagined my first season of TT would be so enjoyable (I think that's the word?), thank you to everyone for welcoming the newbies!
Echo what everyone else has already said; thank you very much to all of the volunteers this season. It's been my 1st year and you've all made me very welcome. Not sure I'd go as far as to say it's been fun though!! Already looking forward to smashing it next season.
Unfortunately I chatted for so long, I still had my number (9) in my hand when most people had gone home, so I gave it to Richard.
Cheers Stuart for pointing out the PB and Noah's huge PB! Thanks to everyone who helped out and especially the Man at the Wrestlingworth turning, who shouted to say if it was clear!
Great season again for the 10s. I'll just add my thanks to all who helped out so that we could run on every week.
Congrats also to Jenny and Dave for bagging the first Northfields handicap cup (most probably - pending JMacs complex calculations !) & Jenny for her superb PB yesterday!
Now just have 9 months to work out how I can shave off 30 seconds to get to the magic 28 something. I've long since given up on the idea of going faster than Emma
Yeah, thanks very much to everyone who gives up there time to organise this great weekly event, and also to all the regular riders who made us feel so welcome in our first season- I had fears it could be a bit elitist and serious for the uninitiated, but I shouldn't have worried - looking forward to next year already!

That was a PB for Noah as well by a minute. Think it was for Gareth too.
Well done to all those with PBs, it didn't look a great night.
Thanks to all who made this happen this year. Matt will be back next year (and I might even have another go!).
Peter
disappointing time, I blame removing my aero bars! Still, Elsie is coming and gonna knock at least a minute off... I hope!
