Help - Old Bike for Station Run

Can any one help Dan out?

He is in need of an old bike he can use to get to & from the station each day when he starts college in the next two weeks.
Obviously we won't let him use his race bike - so he is looking for an old bike that could be lying around in someone's shed unused (unloved) which won't be particularly appealing to anyone hanging around at Ashwell or Cambridge stations.

If you have something suitable - please let us know (& approx. how much you would want for it)

got an old mtb (with 'slicks') that you can have if you like, brakes seem to work and gears (somehow) seam fairly functional

You're welcome to an old fold-up we have. May not be any use as the long seat-post is a bit bent but you can give it a whirl.
