  • Aiming to be there :-)
  • See you Saturday - propose ivinghoe route = 85 miles
  • Ivinghoe sounds good… cafe stop somewhere?
  • Cafe = hub at redbourn = 58 miles

Skeldog, we come back via Whitwell wymondly and Baldock if that helps
  • It's a green light. See you tomorrow.
Need to be back for the club grass track at 1pm. Meant to be nice tomorrow.
  • Top 85m route Phil... big climbs in the Chilterns mixed with little farm roads and smooth fast Tarmac.
Back in time to do dad duties.

Tim and I headed home for 11.00 and I walked in the door at 10:59 so all good even though we were sent cross country by the Garmin Joker. Quite entertaining see the RCa and a pair of Lightweights being nursed along a bridleway for 2 miles:)

Managed just shy of 55 miles at a sensible pace as none higher would have been sustained for very long!

Shame to have missed the full monty but lots still to do at home so having to juggle at the moment.
  • bloody garmin!!
  • *%@# ...indeed
Mine failed to pick up the Etape Cymru course yesterday (as well as the Wells ride). Time for a 'master reboot'? (Think that's what they call it ... and it should work out less expensive than throwing the annoying little lump-of-plastic-and-chip-nonsense at a wall or such like)
  • Feels good at the time tho! lol
