Another 70-80m ride with a few spots of light warm rain mid morning.Plenty of shorter turning points. Thinking south and then an anticlockwise route... coffee at 45
I won't be out on the Saturday rides again until 8th November as I have committed to subbing into a rowing crew until they have raced on the Thames on 1st Nov. At which time I will be slow and require a push.
Luke, Will, Phil and Robbie out... dodged the rain up Hexton and Sharpenhoe then Whitwell for coffee. Prob last day of the year warm enough to sit outside the cafe. By Old Knebworth a few sprinkes but nothing severe. Ended with 70m including the detour to Will's house. Good solid ride with hills and fast intervals through Lilley.
Managed sharpenhoe in 3 minutes flat on the winter bike. Gives you hill climbers tomorrow a target! I think they did it in 2.30 something last year? Good luck! Might come over and say hi tomorrow.
Hey Wilburstar. Come and ride it with us!
Or if not, I now have a target of 3 mins ... although at this stage I have no idea where the official start and finish points are, or whether yours today will be the same as theirs tomorrow?
I hit the lap button at where it started and finished on last year's IC. Don't think I'm up for dusting of the race wheels quite yet, had enough of that for a bit!

Have fun.
