Herts photo competition
Dear Hertfordshire clubs
Please can I draw your attention to a photo competition we are running?
All people need to do is upload their pictures here :
https://www.flickr.com/groups/hertscycling
to qualify for the competition.
The idea is for people to share images of any and all cycling activity in Hertfordshire which we can then use to inspire other Hertfordshire residents with.
I do hope your club members can join in.
Yours sincerely,
Jez Cox

If you know anything about (any) county council decision making, or have any direct experience of such council organisations, you'll appreciate it it's a political, inter-office, inter-department, bitching-driven, knife-between-the-shoulder-blades process and the winning images will have naturally have to include the following:
1) a fluffy bunny or cute puppy, or better, both, 2) a minimum of one grinning child, 3) the colour turned up to 11, 4) a Halfords bike somewhere (maybe) in the picture, 5) as little attention to composition & detail as possible, so include telegraph poles protruding out of peoples' heads, handle bars sticking out of peoples' ears, and a woman in the background with an Asda bag. If you can, make it slightly out of focus and the file must be as small as possible.
Maybe I have been around photography competitions too long?
